The knowledge exam has separate road-sign and road-rule tests: each requires 15 correct answers out of 20. Signs are tested in English; the rules portion has other language options. After the first failure, wait one day; after the second, wait seven days. Retests require an appointment and the permit fee. A Class CP permit can be requested from age 15; the published test fee is $10 per attempt.
